Responsibilities
Work Location: Leam Chabang Industrial Estate (Free Zone 1)
The Planning Supervisor is responsible for all activities concerning with production planning, including support production activities if required to be. He/she will be responsible for supervising his/her team and organizing and monitoring work flow. He/she will perform trainings to his/her team as well as keep his/her team motivated and inform HR and the General Manager about the condition of his/her team.
- Plan day-to-day work for all production departments.
- Prepare weekly plan for production and communicate with production
- Preparation of documents like production order, standard time, drawings etc. for production
- Follow up status with production, discuss with authorize person before adjust the planning and communicate with customer if necessary.
- Keep customer portals updated all the time with correct information regarding delivery dates.
- Direct, Monitor and appraise the performance of his/her subordinates.
- Monitor daily /weekly inter facility /customer shipments.
- Work closely with manager in implementing and maintaining machine and capacity planning.
- Co-ordinate with Engineering and production departments to update information on BOM, Processes and procedures.
- Day-to-today updating of MRP system and also keeping customer portal up-to-date.
- Follow up with purchase, logistics departments for tracking/shipping urgent materials.
- Take initiative in exchange of information between other departments like production, Shipping, Purchasing, Engineering, warehouse etc.
- Co-ordinating with all departments including Accounts and HR for closing of work orders and proper entry of labour hours in Exact.
- Anything the Manager deems necessary
Qualifications
The Planning Supervisor shall have following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or any related fields.
- At least 3 years’ experience in planning, production control, some technical backgrounds will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, ability to work in a high pressure environment and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good in English communication both written, spoken.
- Computer skill for MS office.
