Responsibilities

Map Assembly & Implementation: Build and assemble 2D game levels directly within Unity using Tilemap systems and Prefabs.
Environmental Layout: Design layout guides and placement of all map elements, including collision paths, mob spawns and NPC triggers.
Player Guidance: Ensure smooth player navigation and pacing within levels, aligned with the overall game design direction.
Playtesting and Iteration: Continuously test and refine levels to gather feedback, adjust spatial layout and gameplay pacing, enhance the overall player experience, and resolve level-related issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant teams throughout the development process to ensure level design aligns with content direction and art direction.

Qualifications

Software: Strong proficiency in Unity (2D Tilemap) is a must.
Technical Skills: Experience in managing 2D assets, layering, and optimizing maps for performance.
Growth Mindset: Proactive in solving design flaws and open to constant feedback for "Grow up" improvement.
Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in game design or level implementation.
