Responsibilities
The Financial Officer is responsible for banking operations, fund transfers, and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
The role also supports cash flow management, financial accuracy, and coordination with financial institutions to maintain the organization’s financial stability sorting the organization’s financial stability and management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance of all domestic and international fund transfer transactions with banking regulations and applicable legal requirements.
- Process and verify banking transactions accurately and in a timely manner, while ensuring that all payment processes adhere to financial security standards
- Prepare financial reports and related data in a structured, accurate, and auditable manner
- Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for the organization’s operations, including multi-currency planning
- Perform bank reconciliation and promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies in financial transactions
- Support compliance with AML/KYC requirements and monitor suspicious transactions, ensuring proper reporting in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor foreign exchange (FX) rates and support foreign exchange risk management
- Liaise with financial institutions and relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations
- Continuously improve and enhance financial and payment processes to increase operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international fund transfer processes.
- Possesses knowledge of foreign exchange rates and currency transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and self-motivated, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- A team player with a positive attitude towards challenges.
