Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing international payment operations, processing supplier payments, and ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and banking regulations. The role also supports cash flow management, financial accuracy, and coordination with international vendors and financial institutions to maintain smooth and efficient payment operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with all domestic and international payment regulations and internal financial procedures
  • Process and verify supplier invoices, payment requests, and overseas transactions accurately and timely

  • Prepare payment schedules and maintain proper supporting documentation in an organized and auditable manner
  • Perform accounts payable reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in financial transactions
  • Coordinate with banks, payment providers, and international vendors regarding payment status and transaction issues
  • Support month-end closing processes and prepare related financial reports
  • Monitor foreign exchange (FX) rates and assist in managing multi-currency transactions
  • Ensure compliance with AML/KYC requirements and support related reporting procedures
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and payment tracking systems
  • Continuously improve payment workflows and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Good command of English (able to communicate, read, and write effectively)
  • Understanding of foreign exchange rates and multi-currency transactions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting-related systems
