Responsibilities
The Junior Account General Officer (Regis & Asset) plays an important role in supporting company registration processes, asset management, and accounting administration. This position contributes to maintaining accurate corporate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting efficient accounting and asset management operations in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize company registration documents, statutory records, and legal documents in a systematic manner.
- Handle company registration matters, amendments to company information, and submission of documents to relevant government authorities.
- Prepare meeting minutes, board resolutions, and documents related to corporate secretarial functions.
- Assist in preparing supporting schedules for financial statements and accounting documentation for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, banks, and related parties regarding registration, compliance, and corporate documentation matters.
- Support fixed asset registration, tracking, and documentation processes.
- Prepare and update fixed asset registers, asset tagging records, and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor asset movements, transfers, disposals, and physical asset verification processes.
- Manage and control company assets, including maintaining accurate asset records and monitoring asset usage status.
- Support month-end closing activities related to fixed assets and general accounting entries.
- Prepare accounting documents, payment supporting files, and internal reports as assigned.
- Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and corporate documents to ensure accessibility and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding asset requests, document submissions, and related administrative matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist supervisors with ad-hoc accounting and administrative assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, company registration procedures, and fixed asset management.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in handling documents and records.
- Good organizational and document management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills with both internal and external parties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working under pressure.
- Positive team player with a strong commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
