Responsibilities
Role Overview: Develop rich premises, memorable characters, captivating dialogue, and script structures, leveraging generative AI to rapidly explore narrative variations while crafting a unique story.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft compelling log lines, scene outlines, synopses, and scene-numbered scripts with clear character goals and natural dialogue.
- Utilize generative AI writing tools (e.g., LLMs, prompt extensions) to brainstorm narrative branches, alternative dialogue, and deep world lore.
- Revise scripts alongside the Director and Story Editor to strike a balance between emotional resonance and practical AI shot production limits.
- Formulate comprehensive character backstories, motivations, and arc blueprints to guide subsequent image and voice generation.
- Dynamically adapt scene boundaries, visual descriptions, and dialogue pacing based on real-time feedback from generated footage.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in screenwriting, playwriting, or creative writing for film, television, or narrative games.
- Software Proficiency: Fluency in industry-standard screenwriting software (Final Draft, Celtx, Fade In).
- AI Storyboarding & Writing: Demonstrated capability to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI text assistants for rapid ideation and structural iteration.
- Narrative Expertise: Deep knowledge of story archetypes, character dynamics, dialogue rhythm, and visual scene construction.
- Submission: 1–3 sample scripts, scene treatments, or narrative storyboards.
