Responsibilities
Role Overview: Design recognizable characters with multi-angle reference pipelines that preserve facial structures, expressions, and wardrobe consistency across all generated shots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create multi-angle character reference sheets (turnarounds), facial expression charts, and wardrobe configurations mapped to story beats.
- Build and manage character reference datasets, identity models (IP-Adapter, PuLID, ReActor), and prompt parameters.
- Audit AI-generated footage for unwanted facial warping, identity loss, proportional shifts, or costume inconsistencies.
- Track and design wardrobe state changes across narrative arcs (e.g., combat damage, weather effects, formal attire).
- Interface with Art Directors to align character styles with overall environment aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Experience: Background in character design, costume design, digital illustration, or character concept art.
- AI Consistency Tools: Hands-on mastery of identity persistence techniques (ControlNet, IP-Adapter, PuLID, LoRA training, InstantID).
- Fashion & Anatomy Knowledge: Strong grasp of human anatomy, facial geometry, garment construction, and costume history.
- Quality Control: Exceptional eagle-eye attention to detail for visual auditing and character fidelity.
- Submission: 1–3 character sheets or design portfolios displaying multi-angle character consistency.
