Responsibilities
Role Overview: Assemble generated video takes into emotionally engaging scenes, fine-tuning narrative pacing, color grading across varied AI outputs, and delivering final platform assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble scenes from multiple AI takes, refining pacing, reaction cuts, and emotional resonance.
- Execute advanced color matching and grading across disparate AI renders to create a unified cinematic visual style.
- Flag missing shot coverage, motion glitches, or continuity breaks, coordinating with the generative team for specific re-takes.
- Edit cinematic trailers, teasers, and promotional cuts tailored for diverse distribution platforms.
- Master final project exports adhering strictly to standard color spaces (Rec.709, DCI-P3) and technical delivery specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Professional track record in film editing and color grading with a solid editing reel.
- Software Mastery: Expert command of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- Color Science: In-depth understanding of color spaces, LUTs, color scopes, digital codecs, and mastering outputs.
- Rhythm & Storytelling: Strong narrative editing instincts, emotional rhythm, and visual pacing.
- Submission: 1–3 edited scene sequences, short film projects, or color grading showreels.
