Responsibilities
Job Overview
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure and API microservices for core products. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Developer to build scalable systems capable of handling increasing platform traffic and data loads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and gRPC services using Node.js (NestJS) or Python.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases to ensure high availability, integrity, and performance under high concurrency.
- Write comprehensive Unit and Integration tests, and assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor Junior Backend Engineers within the team.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of software development experience in backend engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js (NestJS / Express) or Python.
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture, caching mechanisms (Redis), and message queues.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure (GCP / AWS).
- Proficient in leveraging AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost productivity and code quality.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
