Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update vendor pre-Qualification assessment as well as sourcing new vendors.
- Prepare bidding cost to lead buyer with the best price.
- Prepare and propose ERS for approval as per Procurement Authorization Matrix. and evaluates Vendor capability/
- performance.
- RFQ issuance and technical query process. (Issue RFQ to vendors and expedite VD to respond / Review quotations and
- submit to Engineer and QA/QC for review / Coordinate/Expedite Engineering, Procurement QA/QC and VD to close all Technical Query(TQ) / Receive TBE (Technical bid evaluation from Engineering)
- Negotiate with Vendor on commercial terms and conditions, delivery times, etc.
- Prepare and submit CBE for approval. Prepare PO/WO and obtain approval. Expedite delivery to ship as per PO contractual date.
- Report procurement progress status from RFQ preparation stage till PO issuance, complete delivery, expedite, monitor and control Vendor’s progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrator or related field.
- Minimum 2 Years up in related field or with Engineering Buyer/Expeditor background.
- Good Skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point).
- Knowledge of Procurement process.
- Knowledge of material specification.
- Knowledge of basic international standard Incoterms.

Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corporation Co., Ltd. was established in 1987 by Nippon Steel Corporation Japan and Italthai Group Thailand. Ever since, over 60 platforms have been fabricated and installed for offshore gas exploration / production in the Gulf of Thailand. TNS is involved in engineering, procurement and construction of steel structure, process, piping, mechanical, electrical & Instrumentation for offshore platforms, bridges and on-land structure fabrication. There are fabrication yards under TNS establishment, namely AMARA yard and BANGPAKONG yard. In view of our rapid work expansion, we are seeking capable, self-driven and energetic professional Oil & Gas design personnel for the following positions to support our Oil & Gas sector EPC and fabrication business.
Candidates should be committed to Quality and Safety, flexibility, innovation and a pro-active approach to engineer and design and activities. Experience in engineer design and a through knowledge of relevant codes & standards. Good communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken), are essential requirements. Engineering Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer with 8-12 years of experience. All roles require a pro-active approach to inter-discipline coordination and also technical supervision and input to development of design actives. At least 4 years previous experience in a similar job with an engineer consultancy or EPC primarily in the upstream oil and gas sector is preferred.
