Data Analyst / Data Engineer - A-HOST Co.,Ltd.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst / Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and business intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, analysts, and project teams to turn raw data into reliable, actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret business data to support decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain business reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Design and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Integrate data from internal and external systems via RESTful APIs and scheduled data flows.
• Monitor data quality, perform data validation and cleansing, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Perform performance tuning of queries, pipelines, and reporting layers.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and end users to define data and reporting requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and user manuals.
• Support production data pipelines and reporting platforms, including incident troubleshooting.
• Follow data governance, security, and development best practices.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse or large-scale data pipeline projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with the Microsoft data and BI stack, including:

                  o SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) / Azure Data Factory

                  o Power Automate

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and data pipeline development.
• Experience with data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and star schema design.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data processing and analysis is preferred.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and system integration.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, or BigQuery) is an advantage.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
