Responsibilities
- Visit existing and prospective customers to understand their welding requirements, applications, challenges, and upcoming projects.
- Identify sales opportunities for welding machines, consumables, accessories, equipment, and related products.
- Present and demonstrate products and welding solutions to customers.
- Recommend appropriate products based on customer applications, materials, processes, production requirements, and budget.
- Arrange customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, trials, and follow-up appointments.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, inquiries, and outstanding sales opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to develop long-term business relationships.
- Follow up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional requirements.
- Generate new business by identifying and approaching potential customers within the assigned territory or market.
- Support customers with product selection and coordinate technical assistance as required.
- Collaborate with internal sales, technical, service, and logistics teams to ensure efficient handling of customer requirements.
- Assist with customer projects involving new equipment, welding processes, production improvements, installations, demonstrations, trials, or other welding-related needs.
- Monitor customer projects and opportunities from initial inquiry through quotation, order, delivery, and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, inquiries, quotations, sales opportunities, and project progress.
- Stay informed about welding products, technologies, processes, and industry developments.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer requirements, market conditions, competitor activity, and potential new opportunities.
- Attend exhibitions, trade shows, customer events, and product demonstrations when required.
- Work towards agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
