Responsibilities
- Develop and manage maintenance systems after project handover, including annual maintenance plans, energy usage plans, and emergency response procedures to ensure maximum machine uptime and support production targets.
- Analyze machine breakdowns, identify root causes, and perform troubleshooting and repairs efficiently, while also managing and approving outsourced maintenance work.
- Conduct and supervise daily inspections of machinery and utility systems, ensuring any abnormalities are reported and resolved immediately through corrective maintenance actions.
- Evaluate machine performance regularly and implement continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects to improve production efficiency (OEE), reduce waste, and lower utility costs.
- Manage tools and spare parts inventory, monitor daily tool usage, and prepare purchase requests for critical spare parts to maintain sufficient stock levels.
- Maintain accurate equipment history records and fixed asset data, conduct regular asset inspections, and assess machinery conditions to recommend replacement or disposal of unsafe or inefficient equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields. An Associate Engineer License (Ko-Vor) is an advantage.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in machinery maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, and fixed asset management in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and asset management tools, with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience in supervising outsourced maintenance contractors, reviewing service agreements, and managing spare parts inventory.
- Good English communication skills, especially for reading technical manuals, preparing documentation, and coordinating with different teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and work flexibly in shifts or emergency situations.
