Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance strategies, procedures, control plans, and systems to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Drive quality initiatives by leading corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to achieve quality targets and prevent recurring issues.
- Monitor, investigate, and address trends related to internal and external non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations.
- Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
- Prepare, review, and present quality reports to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company quality requirements, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Coach and develop quality supervisors, specialists, inspectors, and other quality professionals to strengthen team capability and performance.
- Promote continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality outcomes.
- Support a proactive quality culture focused on prevention, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in quality management, quality assurance, or manufacturing quality environments.
- In-depth understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality control methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to identify root causes, resolve complex quality issues, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risks, alternatives, and business impacts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting, analysis, and process execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities.
