Responsibilities
- Execute End of Line (EOL) test processes and test software for machinery.
- Administer the New Product Introduction (NPI) assembly process, ensuring timely release and processing of engineering drawings for NPI builds.
- Develop and provide NPI process documentation, including PFMEA, Process Flow Charts, Control Plans, Standard Work, work instructions, and SFMEA.
- Conduct technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support NPI initiatives.
- Design and direct the acquisition, fabrication, and provision of necessary tooling and machines.
- Troubleshoot daily End of Line test and process issues, develop effective solutions, and monitor implemented improvements.
- Develop, analyze, and manage manufacturing and assembly projects.
- Procure materials for manufacturing improvements from external suppliers.
- Analyze and deploy engineering change notices.
- Respond to customer issues and lead continuous process improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in product testing and manufacturing processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong foundational understanding of manufacturing concepts.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as VB and PLC.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and Teamcenter.
- Experience with C++ and C# programming languages.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret and work with product drawings.
- Experience in project management and working on project-based assignments.
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good interpersonal skills to foster cooperative working relationships.
- Good command of English communication.
