Responsibilities
Handle and coordinate customer quality issues and complains analyze root causes, and work closely with relevant department to implement effective corrective actions.
Monitor and analyze quality issues in production processes and parts, coordinate on-site investigations, establish containment actions and breakpoints, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure product and processes comply with customer requirements and quality standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, drawings, specifications, and relevant job standards.
- Drive quality improvement and recurrence prevention activities, including QCC, defect reduction, and preventive actions to minimize defective products reaching customers.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare quality performance reports on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis for management review and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, or related functions, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of engine parts production, engine assembly processes, and measurement techniques/tools.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Good command of English, Japanese is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
