Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations across PCBA manufacturing lines, including SMT, DIP, Assembly, and Testing processes.
- Ensure production output consistently meets Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (QCDP) targets.
- Plan and manage manpower allocation, production schedules, shift arrangements, and work assignments to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor key production performance indicators, including Output, Yield Rate, OEE, Downtime, Defect Rate, and On-Time Delivery.
- Ensure operators comply with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, ESD requirements, and quality standards.
- Analyze production issues, process abnormalities, defects, and equipment downtime, coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
- Coordinate with Process Engineering, Quality, Equipment Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to achieve production goals.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, engineering changes (ECN), and production ramp-up activities.
- Lead and support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, and other operational excellence initiatives.
- Monitor and control material usage, Work-In-Process (WIP) inventory, scrap reduction, and production costs.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and promote a strong safety culture within the production team.
- Train, coach, and develop team leaders and operators to improve technical skills and overall performance.
- Conduct daily production meetings and prepare comprehensive production reports for management review.
- Support customer audits, internal audits, and external audits, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, DIP, Assembly, Functional Testing (FCT), ICT, and Burn-in Testing.
• Experience in managing production teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing KPIs, including Yield, OEE, Defect Rate, and Productivity.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• English communication skills are required; Chinese communication skills will be an advantage.
