Responsibilities
Job Summary
The FQC Engineer is responsible for final product quality inspection and ensuring that finished products meet customer requirements and company quality standards before shipment. This role is responsible for managing non-conforming products, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and coordinating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Final Quality Control
* Conduct final inspection and sampling inspection of finished products according to inspection standards and quality requirements.
* Ensure all products meet quality specifications before shipment.
* Verify product appearance, functionality, and documentation compliance.
2. Non-Conformance Management
* Identify, segregate, and control non-conforming products.
* Record quality issues and prepare non-conformance reports.
* Perform root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D methodology.
3. Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
* Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate quality issues and prevent recurrence.
* Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and follow up on improvement activities.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
* Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
* Support customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
* Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
5. Documentation and Reporting
* Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and quality statistics.
* Generate defect reports and quality performance reports.
* Issue quality documents and Certificates of Analysis (COA) before product shipment.
* Support internal and external quality audits as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control, Final Inspection, or Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in electronics, power electronics, or PCBA manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of quality tools, including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, SPC, and CAPA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High sense of responsibility and strong ownership mindset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in expressing opinions and providing recommendations to the team.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
