Senior Application Support & Database Administrator - LCMT Company Limited

• Monitor enterprise systems and provide L1 to L2 application support based on expertise.
• Investigate and resolve system incidents; assist with application deployments, patching, and configuration changes.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical production incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement permanent fixes, and maintain operational runbooks.

Database Administration

• Perform routine DBA tasks including user management, system health checks, database backup verification, and basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Ensure adherence to established security, access control, and compliance procedures.
• Install and configure database systems, optimize performance through query tuning and indexing, manage disaster recovery strategies, and automate routine tasks using scripts (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell, or .NET).

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support or database administration.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Strong service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to user support and a keen interest in learning new technologies and systems.
• Proven hands-on experience in L2 Support and Database Administration.
• Strong understanding of application architectures and APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems, paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or ITSM tools (like JIRA) is a plus.
