Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the finance and accounting team, fostering cross-functional communication and cooperation.
- Ensure the completeness, correctness, and timely submission of statutory financial statements, taxes, and BOI reports.
- Prepare monthly management reports, budget, forecast, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with BOI regulations, tax laws, transfer pricing guidelines, and other relevant local regulations.
- Improve existing accounting and finance practices/procedures, ensuring robust internal controls.
- Liaise with shareholders’ finance team, internal and external auditors, BOI, and The Revenue Department on finance, accounting, taxation, and BOI-related matters.
- Manage and deliver ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the CEO or CFO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPD certification is required; CPA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of management or supervisory experience in an accounting or finance role, with extensive knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, accounting principles and practices, taxation, and BOI regulations.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and BOI regulations.
- Demonstrated internal control mindset.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile, and analyze data.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently.
- Good personality, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
