Mechanical Design Engineer - YAW NGIAP (THAILAND) CO., LTD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design automation machines, fixtures and related parts based on conceptual, and requirements provided by the customer using “Inventor”

• Design detailed parts drawing and build BOM for fabrication and assembly

• Follow up on the schedule for the designed machines, fixtures and related parts with in-house production department, machines vendors and parts suppliers

• Complete all assigned tasks as delegated by the Head of Business and Engineering Solutions within the schedule given

• Maintain design project schedule by monitoring design progress, coordinate activities, and resolve foreseeable problems

• Control design project plan by reviewing specifications, plan, schedule changes and recommend changes when needed

• Work closely and co-ordinate with Project team and customer on-site.

• Work closely with production team to recommend and resolve design issues during fabrication stage

• Assists in equipment assembly, setup, troubleshooting and customer support

• Prepare Machine Operation Manual and documentation



REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or above

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in Food Factory Automatic System (pick and place, conveyor, sensors, etc.)

• Experience in Industrial Automation Machine Design, jigs and fixtures

• Proficient in 3D CAD software (“Autodesk Inventor” preferred)

• Project management capability is preferred

• Familiar with manufacturing process and materials

• Visit customer’s site/factory when required for discussion and product/parts measurement

• Meet with customer to establish requirements for new or existing product/system design

• International work travelling may be required
