Responsibilities
Accountable overall follow up of material approval and readiness for support and develop new and existing materials for product development of sale sample. Additional responsible for sourcing and development alternative raw-materials supplier.
- Support other unit int erm of sample material.
- Support Portugal and HQ to develop new materials
- Support Upper and Montage development team for package development sample by contacting with local supplier and or by oversea supplier.
- Planning and sourcing for the material with special support to ECCO Thailand development team
- Visiting the outsource vendor in order to update information regarding new development and vendors
- Activity to evaluate, inform and improve individual vendor performances.
- Ensuring the material development will meet ECCO standard specification
- Distributing only accurate and updated vendor information and material specification to all involved parties and ensuring that all received the same information.
- Coordinate with HQ Development department and QI department regarding the material approval procedure and test result.
- Conduct and support material testing and approval process which related to CSI projects (Cost saving initiatives)
- Closely coordinate with suppliers in Thailand & Asia to provide and support ECCO material specification to the vendor and controlling and advising the vendors to develop according to the standard set by the ECCO group.
- Time keeper on development of material for production by following up on development department to ensure that the new development will be finished and approved on agreed time before running production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Logistics, or any related field
- 1-5 years in area of material development, purchasing / procurement management, from manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in SAP, or experience in another ERP
- Effective communication, good in both written and oral communications
- Good interpersonal, analytical and planning skills
- Good problem-solving skill.
