Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production processes such as SPI, Pick and Place, and Reflow to enhance efficiency and yield
- Troubleshoot technical issues occurring in SMT production lines to minimize defects and downtime
- Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to determine optimal conditions for manufacturing processes
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for SMT processes
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring process readiness and smooth integration
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3-8 years of experience as an SMT Process Engineer
- Deep understanding of SMT processes including SPI, Pick and Place, Reflow, and AOI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issues in production
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and engineering software
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of manufacturing quality systems such as ISO or IATF is a plus.
