Responsibilities

  • Optical & Process Testing: Design and implement optical quality testing protocols; conduct comprehensive testing using interferometers, spectrophotometers, and optical profilers.

  • Customer Support & Satisfaction: Manage customer quality complaints, handle returns/exchanges, perform root cause analysis, and deliver technical after-sales support.

  • Process Control & SPC: Monitor process capabilities using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Gauge R&R to handle quality anomalies and minimize scrap/rework.

  • Supplier & Incoming Quality: Evaluate supplier quality performance, guide supplier continuous improvement, and manage incoming inspection procedures and equipment calibration.

  • Failure Analysis & Lab Management: Oversee reliability laboratory testing, perform in-depth failure analysis on optical modules, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) using the Seven QC Tools.

  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards across all departmental activities.

  • Documentation: Standardize quality management processes, maintain product traceability, and prepare comprehensive technical quality reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optics, Physics, Mechanical, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and Failure Analysis within an optical module, optical component, or telecommunications manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Skills: Strong command of SPC, Gauge R&R, and Seven QC Tools. Practical experience with optical testing equipment (microscopes, spectral analysis tools, power meters).

  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and EHS protocols.

  • Languages: Good command of English and Thai (both speaking and writing) for technical reporting and client/vendor communication.

  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and proactive leadership/management potential.
