Responsibilities
1. Process Improvement
- Analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, and the 7 Wastes within manufacturing operations.
- Design and improve workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and optimize Standard Time for each production process and operational activity.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement modern technologies, automation systems, and digitalization initiatives in manufacturing processes.
2. Production Planning
- Analyze and improve production planning models by transforming manual processes into Data-Driven Tools and Digital Transformation systems.
- Design and optimize production scheduling logic to minimize process complexity, reduce unnecessary steps, and improve workflow continuity.
- Analyze production data to identify root causes of delays and develop effective corrective and preventive solutions.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop, monitor, and analyze key production KPIs such as On-Time Delivery %, Yield %, Lead Time %, and Production Cost.
- Analyze manufacturing resources including machine capacity, manpower utilization, Standard Time, and other operational data to support long-term production planning and future business growth.
- Prepare analytical reports and recommendations to improve overall manufacturing performance and operational efficiency.
4. Allocate at least 20% of working time away from routine tasks to focus on value-added activities that improve departmental performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Logistics, or other related fields.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in production planning or material planning in the chemical, cleaning products, or FMCG industries.
- Proficient in using ERP systems (especially Oracle) or other relevant planning software.
- Strong understanding of production processes, raw material control, and planning management.
- Excellent data analysis, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience working in GMP or ISO-certified manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to upcountry or overseas locations as required.
- Immediate availability to start work is an advantage.
