Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Conduct routine quality checks and sensory evaluations including appearance, texture, taste, and weight
- Collect and record samples for internal testing and third-party laboratory analysis
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions
- Monitor and verify critical control points (CCPs) in accordance with HACCP plans
- Ensure production processes comply with GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, inspection logs, and testing reports
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and facilitating inspections
- Assist in the development and review of quality control procedures and work instructions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in food manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with in-process inspection, finished goods evaluation, and raw material verification
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards in food manufacturing is an advantage
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and laboratory testing procedures
- Able to work in both laboratory and production floor environments with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
