Responsibilities
Lead and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical systems such as:
HVAC systems (CRAC/CRAH, precision air conditioning)
Chilled water systems (chillers, cooling towers, pumps)
Ventilation and exhaust systems
Fire protection and suppression systems (sprinklers, FM200/Novec)
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Monitor and analyze mechanical system performance using BMS/SCADA data to identify opportunities for optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair works, system upgrades, and installation of mechanical equipment.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, and logs via CMMS (e.g., Maximo, SAP, or equivalent platforms).
Plan and manage spare parts inventory and mechanical tools to ensure readiness and cost efficiency.
Respond promptly to emergency situations or system failures and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
Support commissioning and testing activities for new systems, retrofits, or infrastructure expansions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineers and IT Infrastructure teams, to ensure overall data center reliability and uptime.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer License (PE) or local equivalent (e.g., Thai “กว.”) is preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in mechanical systems, preferably in data centers or critical facilities.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, and chilled water systems.
Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier Standards or similar data center design guidelines.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work on rotating shifts or outside standard hours in emergency situations.
