Responsibilities
- Support the technical transfer of new equipment and production lines for new product introductions, adhering to HQ specifications.
- Install, calibrate, and validate new machinery to support model changes and production line setup during New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Establish and stabilize optimal process parameters through systematic testing and data analysis.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability during ramp-up and steady-state production.
- Perform root-cause analysis on equipment and process failures, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, and defect rates, identifying bottlenecks across equipment and process dimensions.
- Create and maintain Work Instructions (WS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical manuals, and train the manufacturing team on new equipment and process operations.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and HQ engineers on technical upgrades and spare parts management.
- Guide and support subordinate technical staff toward department goals and objectives.
- Adapt to reassignment across Equipment and Process functions as directed by a supervisor, and perform related work as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in Equipment or Process Engineering; fresh graduates with strong technical project experience are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., OMRON, KEYENCE, Mitsubishi).
- Fundamental understanding of servo motors, drivers, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English (TOEIC 550+ preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to work across functions without being anchored to one technical discipline.
- Japanese communication ability is a plus.
- Ability to work 100% onsite at Bangkadi Industrial Park, Pathum Thani, with no relocation support provided.
- Willingness to frequently enter cleanroom environments and provide overtime support (2-4 days/week) during critical equipment setups or New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles.
