Responsibilities
• To execute accurate costing process within department
• To be responsible for the selection and evaluation of the suppliers and sub-contractors
• To organize and plan resources for projects and production
• To monitor and control the production progress
• To ensure the standard of workmanship meets the customer requirements
• To provide training to all personnel and ensure that they have the relevant skills and knowledge
• To review and approve procedures and work instructions to improve methods of operations
• To participate in design review as and when required
• To ensure projects completed and delivered in timely manner as per agreed schedule
• To manage department P & L with good understanding of costing and negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors
Qualifications
• 5 years or above experience in events, conferences, exhibitions and interior industries
• Strong technical and construction knowledge and problem solving orientated
• Organized and scheduled orientated
• Cost sensitive and meticulous
• Ability to interact and work in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Able to travel for overseas projects
• Fluent and well-versed in written and spoken English
• Computer skill: excel, words, power points, sketch up, AUTOCAD or others
