Responsibilities
- Execute accurate costing processes within the department.
- Select and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
- Organize and plan resources for projects and production.
- Monitor and control production progress.
- Ensure workmanship standards meet customer requirements.
- Provide training to personnel to ensure relevant skills and knowledge.
- Review and approve procedures and work instructions to improve operational methods.
- Participate in design reviews as required.
- Ensure projects are completed and delivered on schedule.
- Manage department P&L, leveraging costing and negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the events, conferences, exhibitions, and interior design industries.
- Strong technical and construction knowledge with proven problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with a focus on effective scheduling.
- Cost-sensitive and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel for overseas projects.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
