Responsibilities
- Warehouse Management
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and issuing materials and finished goods.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of materials according to FIFO/FEFO requirements.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow.
- Inventory Control
- Monitor inventory accuracy and stock levels.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, and Finance departments regarding inventory matters.
- Logistics & Transportation
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities.
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers and production areas.
- Coordinate with transportation companies, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
- Monitor transportation costs and delivery performance.
- Import & Export Coordination
- Coordinate shipping documents for import and export activities.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and customer requirements.
- Work closely with freight forwarders and relevant government authorities.
- Team Management
- Supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance.
- Provide training on warehouse operations, safety, and work instructions.
- Develop employee skills and improve team performance.
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and warehouse standards.
- Monitor the proper use of forklifts, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support ISO, customer audits, and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with 5S and environmental requirements.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and logistics operations.
- Reduce inventory discrepancies, transportation costs, and delivery delays.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation.
- Knowledge of SAP systems is an advantage.
- Experience in managing warehouse staff and forklift operations.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good command of English.
