Responsibilities

Overview of Role


The Finance Executive is responsible for maintaining robust financial operations and controls at a country level. This includes full ownership of key financial processes such as accurate bookkeeping, month-end closing, forecasting, annual budgeting, and support for year-end audits.

This position involves active coordination with government officials and departments such as the Revenue Department, Social Security Office (SSO), and Department of Business Development (DBD), ensuring full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable, capable of thriving in a dynamic hybrid work arrangement that seamlessly bridges agile, startup-style execution with structured corporate compliance. The individual is expected to go beyond core accounting functions and gain broader exposure to financial operations, with potential for progression into more senior roles.


Role Description


Finance, Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including financial transactions and team coordination.

• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely financial reporting, including month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings.

• Prepare balance sheet schedules, reconcile sub-ledgers to control accounts, and ensure compliance with finance SOPs and accounting standards.

• Assist with monthly and yearly tax preparations.


Cash Flow Management & Payments

• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, affiliated entities, and other stakeholders.

• Prepare payments in the bank system.

• Monitor and confirm incoming customer payments, ensuring accurate recording and follow-up.

• Prepare, maintain, and update Cash Flow Reports to monitor overall cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations.

• Assist with general administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks.

• Support digitalization initiatives across finance functions.


Advantageous Responsibilities (Highly Preferred)

While not strictly required for day-to-day operations, candidates who possess the capability or willingness to take on the following tasks will be highly prioritized:

• Advanced Financial Analysis: Conduct budget variance analysis, support rolling forecasts, and prepare financial statements and profit & loss variance analysis.

• Stakeholder & Government Coordination: Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and secretarial service providers. Coordinate with relevant government bodies, including the Revenue Department, SSO, and DBD.

• Intercompany Accounts: Prepare and reconcile intercompany billings and transactions.

• ERP (Business Central) Support: Support the optimization and maintenance of the ERP system, provide user training, and help develop usage manuals.


Qualifications

Qualifications and Training:

• University Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.

• A valid Thailand CPD license is an advantage (but not strictly required).
• Further accounting qualifications would be an additional advantage.

Knowledge and Experience: 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Preferred age up to 45 years old.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Business Central preferred).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, costing, and regulatory compliance.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in English communication to support cross-functional needs.
• Excellent overall communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Meticulous, consistent in reporting, and confidential with sensitive data.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Handle challenging or time-sensitive tasks with calmness and efficiency.
• Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn, develop new skills, and adapt to hybrid operational frameworks.
