Production Engineer – Plastic Blow Molding - TPAC PACKAGING (BANGNA) COMPANY LIMITED

Job Description

Responsible for managing, controlling, and improving Plastic Blow Molding processes to ensure efficient and stable production in compliance with quality and production standards. The role also focuses on process troubleshooting and improving overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and continuously improve Blow Molding processes.
• Establish and optimize Process Parameters, including Temperature, Pressure, Blow Pressure, Speed, and Cycle Time.
• Analyze and troubleshoot quality issues such as Thickness Variation, Flash, Leakage, Deformation, and Appearance Defects.
• Analyze and reduce Scrap / Reject rates and Cycle Time.
• Participate in Mold Trials and coordinate with the Tooling / Mold team.
• Support New Product / New Mold trials and production testing.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and continuously improve Process Parameter Sheets, Work Instructions (WI), and SOPs.
• Analyze and improve OEE and Productivity.
• Lead and support Kaizen and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, and other relevant departments.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Plastic Blow Molding.
• Good knowledge of Blow Molding Processes and Mold Technology.
• Experience with EBM (Extrusion Blow Molding), IBM (Injection Blow Molding), or ISBM (Injection Stretch Blow Molding) will be an advantage.
• Strong Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis skills.
• Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Kaizen.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively on the shop floor and handle urgent production issues.
• Experience in the Plastic Packaging Industry will be an advantage.
