Method Engineer / Technical Engineer (Rayong) English or Chinese Speaking - CHEC (THAI) CO.,LTD.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare Method Statements, Construction Procedures, Technical Proposals, Work Instructions, and technical documents for marine and civil construction works.
2. Develop detailed construction methodologies for works such as:

·         Marine piling and steel pipe pile installation

·         Jetty and port structures

·         Marine lifting and installation works

·         Temporary works

·         Concrete and structural works

·         Cofferdam, excavation, and related civil works

1. Review project drawings, specifications, contract requirements, BOQ, and relevant technical documents before preparing construction methods.
2. Coordinate with Construction, Site, HSE, QC, Survey, Planning, and other engineering teams to ensure that proposed construction methods are practical, safe, and compliant with project requirements.
3. Prepare technical submissions for approval by the Client, Consultant, PMC, Main Contractor, or other relevant parties.
4. Revise and update Method Statements and technical documents according to comments from the Client, Consultant, or project management team.
5. Prepare construction sequences, sketches, diagrams, lifting arrangements, temporary works details, and supporting technical information.
6. Support the preparation of:

·         Risk Assessments

·         Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)

·         Work sequences

·         Construction schedules

·         Technical calculations

·         Material and equipment requirements

1. Provide technical support to site teams during construction and assist in resolving technical issues encountered on site.
2. Attend technical meetings and coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding construction methodology and technical matters.
3. Ensure all construction methods comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes and standards, HSE requirements, and quality requirements.
4. Review actual site conditions and propose alternative construction methods or technical solutions when necessary.
5. Assist in preparing technical presentations, construction plans, tender documents, and engineering reports.
6. Maintain proper records of approved Method Statements, revisions, technical submissions, comments, and approvals.
7. Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Technical Manager, Construction Manager, or Project Manager.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in construction engineering, technical engineering, or method engineering.
• Experience in Marine Construction, Jetty, Port, Piling, Offshore, Coastal, or Heavy Civil Construction will be highly preferred.
• Strong ability to prepare Method Statements, Technical Proposals, Construction Procedures, and technical reports.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software.
• Able to prepare technical sketches, construction sequences, and presentations.
• Good written and spoken English, especially for technical documentation.
• Good coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work at project sites and coordinate closely with construction teams.
