Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for Electrical, HVAC, Sanitary, and Fire Protection works.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations.
- Develop project budgets and present cost analyses to management.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, subcontractors, and engineers.
- Prepare tender and contractual documents.
- Assist the project team with value engineering initiatives.
- Prepare and submit tenders regularly.
- Maintain and update supplier and contractor lists/databases for estimating purposes.
- Review and interpret project plans and tender documents.
- Attend estimating meetings as required.
- Adapt to and learn new computer estimating systems.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve project outcomes.
- Interpret contracts, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Understand design and construction documents.
- Assess tender design alternatives and prepare value engineering proposals.
- Draft tender letters, Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, and project budgets.
Qualifications
- Thai nationality, Male/Female, age 35-45 years old
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
- Proven experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Ability to understand and interpret client scopes of work
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
