Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SSHE management systems, ensuring strong safety culture across all operations.
- Drive Safety Leadership and Culture Transformation, promoting proactive hazard identification and intervention.
- Manage and coordinate SSHE personnel across project sites and office operations.
- Oversee Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) performance at all work locations, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk management processes including HAZID, HAZOP support, JSA, and incident prevention programs.
- Ensure effective implementation of Life-Saving Rules, PTW systems, and critical safety controls.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and behavioral safety observations, focusing on high-risk activities.
- Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action implementation.
- Promote environmental protection and sustainability practices across projects.
- Act as SSHE focal point for all internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to develop strong SSHE competency within teams.
- Support Quality systems (ISO 9001) as a secondary function, ensuring alignment but not primary focus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years in QHSE management in oil & gas or energy industry
- Proven experience in ISO systems implementation and audits
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 knowledge (Lead Auditor preferred)
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred
- Good command of English
