Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Responsible for product costing management, cost variance analysis, and inventory reporting, while overseeing sales order monitoring, accounts receivable, and sales tax invoice issuance in accordance with company policies. The role also includes EV subsidy tracking and submission to the Excise Department, along with month-end and year-end closing for costing and accounting transactions across Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
Responsibilities
- Costing & Inventory Control
- Manage product costing, standard cost updates, and cost variance analysis
- Monitor inventoriable cost allocations and handle inventory accounting with GL reconciliation
- Perform month-end closing activities related to revenue and costing
- Sales & Accounts Receivable
- Monitor Sales Orders for pricing alignment with company policies and issue tax invoices
- Follow up on collections and coordinate with the Sales Planning team
- Prepare and deliver daily sales reports
- GL & Month-End Closing
- Perform month-end closing with trial balance reconciliation across revenue, costing, and inventory
- Execute bank reconciliation, output tax reconciliation, and monitor income and cash received
- EV Subsidy Verification & Submission
- Verify and submit EV subsidy documents to the Excise Department online
- Track subsidy status and deliver daily reports to Top Management
- Follow up and resolve rejected cases with Excise Officers for resubmission
- Other Tasks
- Liaise with government departments (DBD, Revenue, Excise, Customs)
- Maintain the Dealer Management System and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Over 5 years of accounting experience, with minimum 3 years in manufacturing costing
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, costing, and manufacturing processes
- Experienced in costing management including BOM structure, standard cost calculation, and variance analysis
- Proficient in ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 is an advantage) and MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
- Able to work extended hours during auditing, month-end, and year-end closing periods
- Detail-oriented, result-driven, and adaptable with a positive can-do attitude
