Responsibilities
- Design and develop denim styles and patterns according to specific client brand requirements.
- Prepare presentations and source references to propose product development directions and advise clients on styling.
- Prepare and review job sheets based on client information to finalize designs and details prior to sampling.
- Coordinate with the development team regarding techniques, trims, fabric, and patterns for sampling.
- Check product specifications and finishing before client approval, summarizing any necessary revisions.
- Oversee fitting sessions, both in-house and external, to refine designs based on client feedback.
- Finalize full-size specifications with the pattern team before size set and PPS (Pre-Production Sample) review.
- Review production order documents, including sewing details, patterns, and specifications, before releasing to production.
- Track denim and fashion trends to inform product development and design direction.
- Support related tasks such as product photography and marketing graphics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Textile Design, Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, or a highly capable recent graduate eager to learn.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Creativity and a strong interest in design work, coupled with an eagerness to acquire new skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Interest in fashion, apparel, or denim; basic knowledge of garment construction or apparel production; and proficiency in other design software such as Adobe InDesign, Figma, or CLO 3D are a plus.
