Responsibilities

1.) Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  1.1) Monitor real-time and historical performance of rooftop solar PV systems using monitoring platforms and SCADA tools.

  1.2) Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as energy yield, Performance Ratio (PR), availability, losses, and downtime

  1.3) Identify underperformance, abnormal trends, and system degradation.

2.) Root Cause Analysis & Optimization

  2.1) Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues related to equipment, design, installation, or operations.

  2.2) Recommend corrective and preventive actions to O&M and engineering teams.

  2.3) Support optimization initiatives including cleaning schedules, inverter tuning, and system upgrades.

3.) Reporting & Performance Assurance

  3.1) Prepare daily, monthly and ad-hoc reports for management.

  3.2) Track contractual performance guarantees, SLAs, and energy commitments.

  3.3) Support performance benchmarking across the rooftop solar portfolio.

4.) Technical Support to O&M & Projects

  4.1) Provide technical support to O&M teams for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.

  4.2) Support commissioning, performance testing, and acceptance processes.

  4.3) Provide feedback to project development and EPC teams to improve future system design and installation quality

5.) Data Management & Tools Improvement

  5.1) Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability across monitoring systems.

  5.2) Support enhancement of monitoring dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting automation.

  5.3) Develop performance models and loss analysis frameworks.

6.) Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

  6.1) Document lessons learned, best practices, and performance improvement recommendations.

  6.2) Stay updated on new technologies, monitoring solutions, and industry performance standards.

  6.3) Support training and knowledge sharing within technical and O&M teams.

7.) Technical Billing

  7.1) Perpare the technical Billing 

  7.2) Understanding the PPA Model.

Qualifications

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Advanced training or certification in solar PV performance analysis is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV system design, operation, and performance metrics.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in solar PV performance engineering, O&M, or technical analysis.
  • Experience with rooftop solar (C&I) portfolios is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms, SCADA systems, and performance analytics.

Skills and Attributes Ability to handle complex situation and work under pressure

  •  Ability to work with large datasets and multiple monitoring platforms.
  •   Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities simultaneously.
  •   Willingness to support site visits and performance investigations when required.

Leadership Skills:

  • Initiative and creative problem-solving skill

  

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with Power BI, Python, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Clear technical reporting and presentation skills.

  

Other Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates fair proficiency in English across written, listening, and speaking skills
  •  Own driving license and own vehicle.
