Senior Buyer - Advanced Interconnection Technology Company Limited

Manage the procurement of PCB raw materials, chemicals, and production-related components to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity. Build strong supplier partnerships, optimize inventory levels, and support production requirements through effective purchasing execution and continuous improvement.

• Convert Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with approved sourcing strategies and supplier agreements.
• Manage the procurement of PCB raw materials, including laminates, prepregs, copper foil, chemicals, dry films, drill bits, and other production-related materials.
• Drive proactive order follow-up with domestic and international suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, prevent material shortages, and support production schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, responsiveness, and cost, while working with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review and manage PO changes, including quantity and delivery schedule adjustments, to align with changing production demands.
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages, excess stock, and supply risks, while optimizing Safety Stock, Reorder Points, MOQ, and Lead Times.
• Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Strategic Sourcing teams to resolve supply issues, support new product introductions, and ensure material readiness.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, material quality issues, and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze market trends, material pricing, and supply risks to support cost optimization and supply continuity.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, ERP transactions, supplier forecasts, and procurement documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through value engineering, digital procurement tools, and AI-driven process enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Material Planning, or Supply Chain within PCB manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PCB materials, manufacturing processes, BOM structures, inventory management, and supplier lead-time planning.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with global suppliers.
• Strong coordination, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and leverage digital technologies and AI tools to improve purchasing efficiency.
