Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance programs for PCB production equipment.
- Establish annual maintenance plans and control monthly, weekly, and daily maintenance schedules to minimize production disruption.
- Monitor equipment reliability, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, PM completion, and other maintenance KPIs.
- Analyze equipment breakdowns and recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead maintenance response for critical equipment failures and ensure timely equipment recovery.
- Improve maintenance methods, inspection standards, maintenance frequency, and condition monitoring based on equipment performance and failure history.
- Manage maintenance manpower, technicians, tools, repair resources, and contractor support.
- Manage critical spare parts availability, inventory levels, replacement planning, and maintenance consumables.
- Control maintenance budgets, repair expenses, spare parts costs, and external service costs.
- Coordinate with Production, Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and EHS to support production continuity.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and improvement activities from a maintenance and serviceability perspective.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with safety, lockout/tagout, ESD, environmental, quality, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Establish maintenance standards, procedures, records, and equipment maintenance history.
- Drive reliability improvement and maintenance cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop maintenance engineers and technicians through skill matrices, technical training, coaching, and competency development.
- Prepare and report maintenance performance, major breakdowns, corrective actions, costs, and reliability risks to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in PCB, electronics manufacturing, EMS, or other high-volume manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, corrective, and reliability-based maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, and industrial machinery systems.
- Good understanding of MTBF, MTTR, downtime, equipment availability, PM compliance, and maintenance cost control.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment failure analysis skills.
- Experience in maintenance planning, spare parts management, contractor management, manpower planning, and budget control.
- Knowledge of safety, ESD, environmental, and applicable manufacturing management systems.
- Experience with CMMS, ERP, MES, or related maintenance systems is preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Good command of English for technical communication and reporting.
