Responsibilities
1. Participate in the detailed design, drawing review, and project execution of medium-voltage (MV, typically 1kV–35kV) power distribution systems for data center projects;
2. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and acceptance of critical power equipment including MV switchgear, transformers, busways, UPS, and diesel generator sets;
3. Provide on-site technical guidance, quality supervision, and safety management for electrical installations, ensuring compliance with Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA)/Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) and IEC standards;
4. Prepare electrical engineering technical documentation, including construction plans, test reports, as-built documentation, and O&M manuals;
5. Coordinate with clients, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and local Thai utility authorities to ensure smooth project delivery;
6. Participate in pre-project site surveys, load calculations, and power supply scheme feasibility studies.
Qualifications
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related fields;
2. Technical Knowledge: Familiar with power system analysis, medium-voltage distribution, relay protection, electrical equipment principles, and relevant power engineering standards;
3. Language Skills:
• English: Ability to read technical documents and conduct basic work communication;
• Chinese: Chinese language proficiency is preferred; candidates with Chinese communication skills will have opportunities to participate in China-Thailand joint projects and training programs in China;
4. Other: Good teamwork and stress-resistance capabilities; willingness to learn and grow on construction sites; Thai driving license is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• Chinese language proficiency (HSK Level 3 or equivalent);
• Internship experience in data centers, substations, or medium-voltage power distribution projects;
• Familiarity with Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA)/Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) grid connection codes and approval procedures;
• Relevant engineer certifications, safety certificates, or electrician licenses.
