Withthat in mind, the Power of Learning Foundation was established as a licensedauthority to institute a science high school dedicated to this mission. KamnoetvidyaScience Academy (KVIS) accepted its first batch of 72 students inMay 2015. Today, the academy’s enrolment is at a total of 216 students, offeringa specialized curriculum to students from Grade 10 – 12.

Theprincipal aim of KVIS is to nurture students who are giftedin mathematics and science to reach their full potential, ultimately, tocontribute to the country’s competitiveness as researchers, inventors andinnovators. In line with the 21^st century needs, these talentedstudents undergo an education in English at the academy. The aim is to prepareand equip them with the ability to access global knowledge, to communicate withconfidence, and to actively engage and collaborate with like-minded youth, bothat local and international levels.

Theacademy is situated in a research and educational park, in Wangchan Valley,Rayong. The province is located in the eastern part of Thailand, approximately150kilometers from the capital, Bangkok. Situated amid lush and hillygreen surroundings of tropical fruit trees, oil palms, and rubber plantations,the eco-peaceful atmosphere provides a highly-conducive learning environmentand quality lifestyle to both students and teachers.

This upcoming semester, as partof its continuous expansion, the academy is seeking qualified staff withEnglish proficiency equivalent to that of native speakers for the followingpositions:
