As the Indirect Procurement Senior Officer of TBSC Indirect Material and TIIP, the primary purpose of this role is to oversee the procurement of spare parts and machinery as specified in purchase requests from various departments compliance with required standards and specifications, including source and evaluate contractors by reviewing business registrations and past performance records submitted to the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in preparing the department budget and control expenses related to spare parts procurement and contractor hiring in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
• Contribute annual planning based on policies for spare parts procurement and contractor engagement; communicate plans to relevant staff and ensure proper implementation through monitoring and control.
• Summarize contractor selection results and submit for management approval, including reporting outcomes.
• Negotiate pricing and verify details of contractors’ quotations.
• Monitor procurement progress, including spare parts quality and delivery performance of suppliers/vendors.
• Follow up contractor performance in material preparation and machinery installation according to agreed terms.
• Execute procurement of spare parts and contractor engagement for materials and machinery installation in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality system procedures and work instructions.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance, consultation, and continuous development to teammates to enhance their knowledge and capabilities in relevant areas.
• Continuously develop professional and technical skills through training, reviewing industry-related public resources (especially in the tire industry), and strengthening networks within both personal and corporate industry connections.
• Study work processes and apply new technologies to improve efficiency, speed, and accuracy of operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
