Costing Supervisor - V.S. Group

• Analyze production costs, product costs, and project-related costs.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of cost data within the system.
• Perform cost variance analysis to identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.

• Calculate product costs using both Standard Cost and Actual Cost methods.
• Prepare and update product cost structures, including Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing data.
• Provide costing support for product pricing strategies.

• Prepare cost reports, gross profit reports, and cost analysis reports.
• Present analytical insights and cost-related information to management.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Improve costing processes and data management systems.

• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance teams.
• Provide cost information and analysis to support new product development and project costing initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cost accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in cost accounting within the chemical industry will be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting systems and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, Business Intelligence (BI), and AI tools.
• Intermediate to advanced level of English business communication skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and team management skills.
• Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy and minimizes errors in cost data, accounting records, and financial reports.
• Commercial Mindset for Costing – Beyond understanding cost figures, the role requires business acumen, including an understanding of customers, pricing strategies, and profitability to support effective business decision-making.
