Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and supervise the preventive maintenance plan for all facilities and equipment supporting logistics operations.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, resources, materials, and equipment access in full compliance with applicable standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance completion rates and report progress against plan; escalate deviations promptly.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize operational downtime and maintain performance
  • efficiency.
  • Lead the repair program and collaborate closely with technicians, vendors, warehouse teams, and procurement to ensure all repair activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Track repair requests to completion; monitor equipment performance post-repair and implement improvement measures where recurring issues are identified.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with SOPs, Work Instructions, and regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and GDP standards, while maintaining accurate and complete documentation to support compliance and quality objectives.
  • Lead and support audit activities, ensuring timely investigation of findings through root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide training to relevant staff on quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements to build team competency and ensure consistent compliance across all warehouse operations.
  • Plan, document, and monitor the implementation of safety processes and procedures across all logistics operations; ensure compliance with applicable safety laws and regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections in accordance with work permit requirements and safety regulations before, during, and after work commences; identify and address hazards immediately.
  • Investigate all incidents and near-miss events; implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence and drive continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in safety and facility management within the logistics industry; experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory role with direct responsibility for maintenance programs, safety compliance, and team management.
    • Hands-on familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance programs, equipment management, and facility operations; experience with air conditioning and temperature control systems for temperature-controlled storage is advantageous.
    • Working knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards and pharmaceutical product handling procedures is an advantage
    • Strong leadership and people management skills with proven ability to motivate and drive performance.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
    • Good command of written and spoken English.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications.
