Responsibilities
- Design and develop diverse custom applications for R&D and manufacturing users utilizing programming tools such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and Python.
- Develop and design software solutions for converting legacy data formats to company standard data formats.
- Design databases and develop backend applications using PL/SQL.
- Collaborate closely with Business SMEs, R&D, Product Engineers, and Test Engineers to deliver effective software solutions.
- Convert legacy software code to modern technologies.
- Maintain and improve existing custom applications.
- Communicate and coordinate with overseas teams.
- Provide problem-solving solutions, including for complex and time-sensitive issues that could impact daily operations and product shipments.
- Ensure the delivery of quality solutions through documentation, code/design reviews, and change management practices.
- Support and mentor other team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science etc.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience and skill set in one or more of the following areas:
- Hands-on software development in a .Net, C# environment.
- Hands-on database design for Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with PL/SQL, Stored Procedure, and package creation.
- Excellent English oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to bring logic and structure to loosely defined, unstructured problems and ideas.
