Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Identify and approach new business opportunities within the automotive and heavy machinery sectors, focusing on metal stamping and welding assemblies.
• Discuss technical specifications, engineering drawings, and drafts with clients to ensure production feasibility.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing Tier-1 and OEM clients, acting as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial inquiries.
• Prepare detailed price breakdowns and quotations based on material costs, stamping processes, and welding complexities.
• Monitor industry trends in the OTR (Off-The-Road) and automotive sectors to stay ahead of competitors.
• Travel to client sites within the Eastern Seaboard and surrounding areas to provide on-site support and project updates.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive) or a related field with a strong interest in sales.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the Automotive Stamping, Welding, or Parts Manufacturing industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints and discuss technical drafts with clients comfortably.
• Good command of English (written and spoken) for reporting and communicating with international management/clients.
• Must possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle (for client visits).
• Strong negotiation skills, proactive attitude, and a "problem-solver" mindset.
