Responsibilities
-Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.
-Responsible for development of production planning functions including order planning, shop scheduling, and shipping plan.
-Effective communicate with various internal departments on any potential production issues or needs.
-Effective communicate production status to mangers and customers on regular basis.
-Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules in reaction of unforeseen conditions.
-Support cross plant/departmental teams and projects, as necessary.
-Conduct weekly meeting reviewing orders for shortages and timeliness with all concern departments.
-Monitor schedules for on time completion, shipment, and weekly sale order.
-Monitors backorder and expedite product to stock.
-Maintain and review the production plan in order to adjust for forecast changes and unexpected sales.
-Monitor project progress to ensure completion within deadlines.
-Report Customer OTD and Internal KPI.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
-3+ years of experience as a Process Planning, Planning Engineer.
-Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems is a must.
-Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Outstanding problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Should demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities.
-Able to work well under both time and accuracy pressure
