Responsibilities

  1. Manage supplier interactions for both international and local partners, starting from greenfield projects.
  2. Develop and execute procurement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  3. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery capabilities, and sustainable practices.
  5. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance performance and foster innovation.
  6. Negotiate supplier contracts to secure advantageous terms while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  7. Prepare and manage procurement budgets, including cost forecasting and tracking for materials and services.
  8. Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on manufacturing operations.
  9. Generate regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.
  10. Utilize data analytics to refine procurement strategies and support decision-making.
  11. Possess knowledge of import, customs clearance procedures, and tax structures.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Over 7 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the manufacturing sector and/or involving greenfield projects.
  3. Proficiency with SAP, ISO standards, and supplier audits.
  4. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Fluent in both Thai and English, with superior verbal and written communication skills.
